Activity induced migraines

I say activity because it doesn't need to be sustained exercise that triggers them.
It feels like I can't control my bodies temperature and whenever I get even a little bit warm and then depending on how hot the day is and how long I'm doing something for varies the length and intensity of the headache.
I've seen my GP who has ruled out blood pressure and I've had a CT & and MRI with dye which both showed nothing. I have Indomethacin to prevent them but they are a very strong medication and have some not so good side effects. I try not to take them if I can help it. I drink 3-4 750ml bottles of water a day.
I am at a point where this is directly affecting my quality of life. These headaches are the main reason I went from sporty and active to sedentary and scared of sunlight. I am in a good place with losing weight and trying to get fit but even a 20 minute leisurely breaststroke swim this morning yielded a headache.
Anyone who's had the same experience or has any advice would be appreciated.

About temperature... I used to get migraines a lot, and temperature difference set them off quite often. Not only heat; for instance getting out of a warm car or leaving the house into the cold outside would make my head hurt immediately. Different things like smells and loud sudden noise gave me migraines too.
In my case, it went away for the most part with age. But i know that eating healthy and fresh food will help you feel better and make your body respond a little better to the circumstances at fault.0 -
Thanks for sharing. It's just so frustrating when the Drs can't tell me what causes it. I only developed it as I got older so probably 5-6 years ago they got really bad. Prior to that I never really got headaches.0
