It's been a struggle for me not to clear my plate, eat a whole restaurant portion, or finish things out of the refrigerator so that they're not "wasted". I've been doing this for years at a higher cost than lost food, so this quote helps me to keep it all in check. I think I found it on Pinterest?
I struggle with that too, and you reminded me of another one:
