It's official: I could really use a maintenance break!

No, it's not a lost-weekend style binge... And no, it's not a sedentary Netflix marathon in jammies... And yes I will still log food & weigh myself everyday, because that's just what I do...
I just want a break from deficit eating. I feel kind of burned out. Love my workouts. Love my food log. Love all my healthy habits. I'm just tired of trying to scrunch that all into a smaller calorie footprint to meet a certain weight goal by a specific date.
Taking a deficit vacation! Aloha! I'll send postcards!!

    Make sure to set a date in which you plan on returning. Otherwise your break could accidentally continue for a lot longer than you intended (my year off turning into two and it flew by).

    Thanks for that. Im planning to restart an official weight loss game by June 1 when my summer school schedule begins. And I'll keep any weight loss I manage to fit in here too! Not giving anything back! I just want to look at that calorie number on my Fitbit HR and decide where to stop eating that particular day without having a preset deficit.

    Enjoy yourself! I have taken several long breaks along the way and don't regret them at all. My suggestion is to have other goals during that time. Last year my goals were all strength related so even though I didn't have a net loss for the year, I still moved forward with fitness.
