Would love more running / weight loss friends!

I'm pretty late to running, only been doing it for the past 6 years ( in my mid 40s). I've done a dozen 5ks, a couple of 8ks and a couple of 10ks. My big goal is my first half marathon this fall.

I'm trying to lose more weight and get to a good maintainable level. Currently I'm rehabbing a knee injury (the knee I had surgery on 2 years ago).

I'd love more friends with similar interest for encouragement and inspiration!

    Hi, Kat! I too have been running for about the last 6 years. I am in my 50s. I have done mostly 10Ks and one half. Looking forward to doing a half in the fall. I am having a little trouble being motivated overall right now though. Food and exercise are not a priority really, although they should be. So just for today we need to track our food and do some kind of exercise, right? Just for today. I will say it again tomorrow to myself.
