turbofire and Calories

Alright so the Turbofire workouts come with a way to calculate your calories then add an estimate of what is burned during the day, and then to subtract 500. So anyone know if I should input just what I should be eating in my calorie goals and not input actual calories burned per my HRM? Before I was putting in what I needed subtracted 500 then added workout calories back to that. But because it's HIIT workouts. Even though my HRM says I only burned 300 in the 15 min I know my burn will be higher then that for the day withheld after burn. Thanks

You are overthinking. Just put in what your HRM says you burned during that exercise. If you put in your activity level and goal in mfp then it already accounts for your calorie deficit. You should choose to eat at least 50% of your exercises calories.0

Ok ill put in my deficit that turbofire had me at.because I feel like MFP is too low. So if i take my maintenance of 2041and subtract my deficit which Im doing 600. I get 1441. Then I add my workout calories in to that? And your saying eat back at least 50%? Also thanks for your help. I hate counting calories and it's extremely difficult to get the amount I need. Healthy whole foods are not super high in calories except for my healthy fats.0

Yes. If your maintenance calories are 2041 and you want to eat at a 600 calorie deficit then that would put you at 1441 calories. If you burn say 400 calories from Turbo Fire and don't eat those back then your deficit would be 1000. So you want to at least eat back 50% of those calories. Once you have tracked for a while you will see if you are losing too much or too little weight and can eat more or less based on the numbers but that takes time. I hate counting calories too.0
