New to the forum... Hi

Hi all, I'm new to the forum (and MFP). I've used a few apps before but none of them are as comprehensive as this one and I've been able to stick with this one for a lot longer than the others.
A bit of background about me. By the time I started senior school (high school) I was about 14 stone (at 11 years old.... Not good), and a constant barrage of junk food and sugar saw my weight increase until I got to 23 stone by the time I was 18. I knew I was heavy but the possibility of being unable to have an operation I needed made me realise just how bad things had gotten. I started lifting weights and dropped from 23 stone to around 18 stone, but like many newbies, I still thought that exercising meant I could eat whatever I wanted. I've been dieting / exercising on and off for the last 8 years and now down to 16 stone and still dropping. My aim is to have a truly healthy lifestyle, eat the right food, excersize and have a good healthy body.
