Running/Training for a 5K

I'm training for a 5K and started on week three of the training program (4 minutes run/1 minute walk six times with a 5 minute warm up) and so far it has been going great, but I noticed in the last couple of days that I have a painful stitch or ache in my right side, even when walking. I run every other day and always stretch after running and do yoga on my "off" days. Is there anything extra I can do or any tips anyone has to help prevent this or make it go away?

With yoga and running are you maybe over doing it?
Breathe deeply while running, take it slower, watch what you eat and drink before and during your runs. There are many things that can cause side stitches. You have to experiment to figure out what the cause is for you.0
