Favorite Gym Looks for larger ladies?

I see so many cute fitness tanks that I would love to wear! Many of them do come in a size XL, but they are designed so that your bra shows. This works great if you are a 34 B and can wear those cute brightly-colored compression type sports bras. At a size 38DD though, sports bras are white, underwire beasts with wide adjustable straps, and hooks in the back. Not exactly the kind of thing I'd like to show off. Not to mention my fat roll underneath...

Do any of you larger ladies have a favorite look that you sport at the gym? Or a brand that makes great tops with more coverage? This isn't about showing off for anyone at the gym, but since I have to look at myself in the mirror for over an hour, I would like to wear something that is not frump-tastic :-) TIA!

I am a 38DD as well, I typically wear a regular racer-back bra, then a compression racer-back sports bra then my racer-back tank. Hoping as I continue on this journey those DD will drop to a nice full C!

Well what I would like to say would get me reported again although it would be hilarious, but OP I'd like an answer too because most of it is frump city. Junonia.com does have some exercise clothing for larger women. It's not the cutest though. Not really a lot of options.

I always wear tanktops under workout tops because the ladies dance a lot so i try to cover up. i am loving the tanks old navy has now, they are sleevelvess and nice and airy, they are a bit loose which is why i wear the tanktops...that way i'm covered, don't look like sausage casing and my upper lady bits aren't giving a show....hope this helps! i'd check ON out, it's more affordable than most places and come in fun colors!

I'm a 34DD, and I agree, some of the sports bras out there are really ugly! But there are some cute ones too, Bare necessities has some really cute ones. As far as the shirts are concerned, if you don't feel comfortable in a tank top, Target has some really brightly colored, well fitting workout tops. Good luck! :)

LOL! I don't really look good in animal prints, but hey, more power to'er. She's in the hotel gym - that's dedication. If I forgot to pack my sneakers, like she did, you'd find me at the lobby bar, not the weight room!

Walmart just just came out with a new line of racer backs (Danskin I think) I bought one in every color (like all 6 or 7 of them!) and I was actually able to get them in a L not in an XL which floored me....but they are kind of baggy and get bigger towards the bottom of the shirt, but they have a draw string to cinch them if you want. They are dri-fit material, and actually kind of look dressy to wear out to the bar, dinner etc..... in the HOT, humid summer! I LOVE THEM!

^ This. I purchased some of these as well although mine don't have the drawstring at the bottom. I bought 3 in hot pink, purple striped, and blue. I'm 241lbs and size 42DD; the shirts are size XXL.

By the way, Lane Bryant.com has cute sports bras with or without under wires. They are a little pricey around $50.00 but right now they are buy 2 get 2 free

Champion makes bra-like sports bras (4 hooks in the back) for bigger chested women in *black*--looks great under those tanks and hides sweat beautifully. Just type in champion bra DD into amazon for some great options.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I checked out the walmart/danskin tanks - those are crazy cute for only $6 each! Next, champion and/or Lane Bryant for black sports bras - I never thought of that since I am fair skinned & usually wear t-shirts.
