Or find another approach that involves eating at maintenance.

Congrats on the loss and improvement in health markers OP!

I've been trying to figure out a good ratio of all the macros (carbs, fat, protein) to fit my lifestyle. When I was running marathons, eating about 40-60% carbs was what I needed. Now that I'm doing yoga and walking, I find that I'm more satisfied with a different ratio. I've been doing about 30-45-25 carbs-fat-protein. I'm working to lower my cholesterol, so I'm watching the types of fats I eat, but I've been really happy with this ratio. I feel completely full all day and I still get to cook amazing food that tastes great. My other friend that's doing it with me call it a low carb diet...I look at it as eating the right foods to fuel your current effort level! When I get back to marathon training, I'll shift the ratios again :)

    Congrats on the weight loss!

That's one silly (and full of incorrect info and generalizations) video. I could have done without it if I were you.

    Regardless...
It feels good to have found what works for you, doesn't it? Congratulations on your loss. Your hard work has paid off and hopefully will continue to pay off.

It's really cool to see others go lchf and see how we all seem to find a slightly different ratio that is our sweet spot. Mine is often ~50 grams of net carbs, ~150 gram protein and the rest fat which come out to about 60% of my calories.
