Started riding a lot in the last year and a half (weather permitting). I ride a recumbent trike because they are much more comfortable than a regular bike (and a trike is a lot more stable). The best advice I can give is to get a bike that fits you, get some good gear, especially those bike shorts if you are going for a regular bike, and also try the clip in pedals and cleats - you will be able to pull on the pedals instead of just pushing.0

Thanks. I ride now but have seen clips I just am scared of not being able to get my feet to the ground quick. lol0

I have a gravel grinder in August I want to do and need a solid training program for a 150 miles. I haven't quite found what I like online. I ride 50-60 miles a week currently. I have a surly ECR. But until now only have been on pavement or manicured crushed limestone trail. Any tips?0
