I am a diabetic and have changed eating habits but no matter what I do during a meal or after a meal I have that emptiness in my stomach as if I haven't eating .

Any one else struggling with the same thing or have over come this .

Thanks

Being diabetic sucks! Sorry, I feel that pain.UGH.
Have you tried the tricks like:
    1) eating the same portion, but on a smaller plate
    2) drinking water BEFORE you eat
    3) getting AWAY from the table and getting busy with an activity as soon as you are done eating (This one work for me as I find if I eat while doing anything, I tend to eat more. I have to finish eating and immediately get A.W.A.Y. from the table. No ifs, ands, or buts!)
4)Keeping low calories snacks available at all times. My "go to" things are oatmeal or raw vegetables. This give me a full feeling.

I am a diabetic and had that problem for the past 40 years.

What has changed is that I now make sure I eat enough fat/protein and do not go into carb overload. The wrong carbs will make me hangry between meals and that's just an ugly thing.

Definitely up your water consumption and try to not drink your calories if you are.

Eating slowly, chewing well, and focusing on food (no tv/tablet/pc) will also give your brain time to realize you've had enough.

Visit a dietitian, if you haven't already, to make a personal meal plan to keep your body fueled and the hunger monster happy :)

I suggest LCHF. Here is a good starting point if you haven't already seen it: dietdoctor.com. Lots of good information for you to make an informed decision with science to back it up. If you follow the 2 week challenge I'm sure you will feel better and not as hungry.
