Can't seem to lose weight

I have been trying to lose weight for going on 3 weeks and I haven't lost a pound. I have worked out everyday and have given up everything such as soda, chips, cookies etc. I'm stumped and a bit discouraged. Anyone else out there struggling?

You gave up soda, chips & cookies. But how are you measuring what you are eating? Measuring cups or a food scale? And how are you measuring your exercise burns?

Are you counting calories? Are you counting everything you consume? Are you measuring correctly?

Get a food scale and weigh and measure everything you eat. You have to stay in a calorie deficit. Just giving up things here and there isn't going to do it.

Are you using a scale to weigh your food? Do you use MFP's recipe builder? Are you using the correct food entries from the database? Do you eat back exercise calories? If so, what percentage do you eat back? Do you log the butter or oil you use to cook with?
