Glucose and weight loss

I've read that your body sheds glucose and water weight before burning fat. So if I eat carby foods and / or high sodium foods within my calories that cause me to gain water weight, will I be unable to lose fat for the days in which the water weight stays on?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I think you mean glycogen, not glucose. Glucose is sugar.
And the answer is no, retaining water does not cause you to be unable to lose fat.0 -
You lose body fat each day that you're in a calorie deficit. What you read is irrelevant to long-term fat loss.0

As long as you eat lots of carbs you won't be burning much fat. Instead it will be Muscle and water. Keeping carbs below 100 grams/day would be best for fat loss.0
