Any protein shake brand recommendations or tips on how to use them to help curb snack cravings? Any info on them would be greatly appreciated!

I use an organic plant based, 25 grams per shake protein powder created by a physician who had cancer and is now in complete remission. The brand name is Orgain and comes in powder or ready to drink. I love the ready to drink chocolate. Filling and satisfying. And delicious. There is also Orgain Kids for children.0

If you're from the UK, I would recommend trying out myprotein.com. I use this one in Vanilla: http://www.myprotein.com/sports-nutrition/impact-whey-protein/10530943.html. They have a wide range though.

Buy from a store. Easy returns, no questions asked if you don't like the taste. Keep your receipt.
Buy a protein bar first, if you can find it, from that brand. See if you like taste.
If a powder, consider a cheap mixer for about $15.
Walmart and target sell pure protein powder and bars, which are pretty descent.
Personally, I like to eat my protein better.
I like to cook chicken breasts, eat egg, eat peas, eat almonds, even drink skim milk.
Shakes do not cure cravings for me. Lean protein is the real trick.0 -
I LOVE protein shakes because I can use them as dessert, too. I usually have one for breakfast every morning because I'm very busy at that time and I can't sit down to eat a proper meal until I get home from work.
I like to mix Vega Essentials protein powder in Chocolate or Vanilla with fresh or frozen fruit/veggie blends. My favorite for breakfast is vanilla Vega powder with half of an avocado, blueberries, and some unsweetened vanilla cashew/almond milk. My favorite dessert shake is Vega Chocolate with cherries and the cashew/almond milk. Water is fine too, but I like a bit of extra creaminess. Really the possibilities are endless and it's a great way to blend in extra veggies without an overwhelming taste.
I also have whey protein powder, but I find plant protein blends a bit better with the fruits and vegetables flavor wise; I get whey protein from my Greek yogurt anyway. Garden of Life also does plant protein, but I found theirs to be too grainy.0
