Having trouble adding people

Hi all I'm using my app on my iPhone and I never had this problem. I can't seem to add people. When I click the name I don't see add me just he person info , pics , message how can I fix this? It happens to everyone.

Click their name in the box that pops up and it'll take you to their profile to add them
