Hello
I wanted to ask you this has your routine ever been messed up. I like to stay on schedule and having everything done but this week it has been a mess. I had a personal training session on Sunday, I did deadlifts and my back is still sore in a good way, This meant I could not train back on Tuesday. On top of that Iv been feeling a cold coming on and I have not ran in 1 week due to shin splints

You have your whole life ahead of you. Get back on schedule next week. Things happen, don't let it derail you.0

Yes, it happens and you just have to roll with it. I lifted last Thursday and normally would have lifted on Saturday. However, we had a lot of snow and I ended up spending a bunch of time shoveling and by the time I was done my back was sore. Last summer I hurt my back by pushing a workout right after doing something so I'm not reluctant to push to much. That meant putting of my next lifting until Monday because I had previous commitments for Sunday. That's what I did but now this week is "off" because I normally lift Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday. Since I lifted Monday I feel like I should lift today but I'm just going to wait until tomorrow because I can do it without being rushed due to my other commitments for today.0

Your body is trying to tell you something. You don't need to change your routine just take the intensity down a bit until you heal. Walk instead of run. You can stay on schedule and still give yourself room to heal.0
