I am sooo excited.. I'm down another 1.14 that's almost 2 more pds in just one day! Thanks to my son and paleo. Love you son.

Not to burst your bubble but with paleo diets the initial huge losses are mostly from water weight due to depleted glycogen stores; you didn't lose two pounds of pure fat in one day. It will eventually stabilize itself, so don't feel discouraged when the rate of loss slows down. If a paleo based diet keeps you in a calorie deficit then keep on keeping on, but it's not necessary for weight loss. Congrats on your progress thus far.3

Initially, most people see a very rapid loss of 5-10 pounds in the first week. This is encouraging, but don’t expect it to last forever: it’s mostly water weight.

Not discouraging at all, it's better to know and expect a bit of a slow down, than expect to keep losing lbs per day and wondering why you're not.
