Are you suppose to use up all the calories?

Goal means GOAL.
I aim to meet my goal, or come very close to it.
Keep in mind that the daily calorie goal MFP has calculated for you has you in a calorie deficit before exercise - meaning you can eat all your cals every day, do zero exercise, and you'll lose weight - this is because the goal is fewer cals than what your body burns all day long - sleeping, walking, working, doing chores, etc.
So yes, you're supposed to fuel your body with all, or nearly all of those calories.0 -
I don't always use mine up 100% every day. I try to come close but if I'm not hungry I don't force the issue. The following day though, I might have an extra snack or a treat and I'll backlog it to the day before.0
