Getting to know my body

I have always wondered why my body is not showing any progress when in fact, I work out and eat health. I'm 123 lbs and for a 4'10 female, that's above the normal weight. Today, I started my diary and learned that I consume more calories than my body needs. Even though I eat food that have less calories, I consume them in big amounts which is the reason behind my lack of progress. I am so happy to have come across this app. I hope to see progress anytime soon.
Lesson: One has to know his/her body in order for change to happen.
