You should log it as food but only if you took a big poop after you ate it.

    this.

ice is water in a different form. if you want it to count as water, melt it next time.

Seriously! How hard can that be? Right?

Besides, everyone knows that eating ice slows down your metabolism and packs on the fat

Was it melting or had it just come out of the tray?

You better not eat for the next three or four days now. I think you really may have over done it this time.

I thought it boosted your metabolism because it had to work so hard to get back to 98.6.

You should also log it as a workout because your body uses more energy to process cold water than it does room temperature water! You probably burned at LEAST three extra calories for the day.

On a technicality you could log it as exercise depending on how you used it & with whom. Random thought. ;)

well you guize are kinda both right...as you ingest the ice, it shocks your system with the cold temperature and not only slows your metabolism, but your breathing rate, and your blood flow. this process is known as friogenesis.
once your body realizes what's happening to it, it automatically kicks itself into high-gear and raises your systems up to full metabolic capabilities in order to warm the ice, break it down into water, and get it to a temperature that the body can actually use it.
you do have to be careful though...if you are taking in more ice than your body can keep up with processing, you could potentially fall into whats known as an internal subcoma, where the internal temperature of the body is actually colder than the external temp. this is dangerous and should be avoided.
    thank you science.

What a waste of an ice cube! There are much more fun things you can do with an ice cube which will raise your heart rate and help burn some calories
