We're selling and buying a house and it's very time consuming and stressful. I've lacked heavily in exercise the past two weeks, and have been eating bad...just haven't been focused. I'm scared to weigh myself. Encouragement please :) Thank you!!!

Think of weighing yourself just to see where you're at and making a fresh start of it from your current point without considering the past. No time like the present. Moving can be difficult, but lifting boxes burns calories and just think of how awesome you're going to make your new home!

Weigh yourself and get it over with! Then keep going. You can do it.

Me after xmas. It wasn't actually as bad as it could have been and although I am not 100% on track yet I have got back to where I was before I went offtrack. The key for me is to catch it early so you dont feel tempted to give up altogether and end up right where you started.

Not weighing yourself doesn't change your weight. Is it possible for you to try to take some of the emotion out of it?

It's just a number. It's data. The data will help you get back on track, and help you know whether you're staying on track thereafter. It gives you a basis for recognizing the success that will be coming up in future.

Weigh yourself, and get back on a healthy routine as soon as it's practical for you to do so. So you've had a two-week delay in your weight-loss/health-improvement efforts? Pretty minor in the grand scheme of things!

You're also in a nice new home (or soon to be), which is great. Life is complicated, you're balancing your objectives, you'll be getting right back on track with your health. Right?
