Vivofit gone mad

Hi
Garmin connect has gone mad these last couple of day and is giving me between 1000 and 2000 extra exercise calories. Has anyone else noticed this or have I set things up wrong, last week it was giving me a couple of hundred at most.

    my Garmin only gives me 300-400 extra calories. its possible that you have miss calculated how active you are like you set MFP to light activity when really your far more active then you think and Garmin is correcting that. or you don't have your Vivofit set up accurately in regards to things like weight which can change your totals. personally I have my MFP set to sedentary to give me the lowest number then have my Garmin adjust for extra calories

    I have mine set for sedentary because if I didn't exercise my daily steps would only be a 2-3 thousand, but I have been know to reach about 18k if I'm running and doing gym classes. I just though when I entered my exercise it would take this into account.
