I really need help with canned beans..

The info on the back seems to be for the undrained weight, it says 100cal/130g, and there are 3.5 servings per can. Which is correct when un drained , but drained they weigh much less and thats how I eat them. Should I be draining, weighing the drained weight, then dividing by 3.5 to get a true serving gm size? Sounds simple now that I've typed it out

Hard to be sure, but more than likely if their nutrition info is by weight it's with the liquid. But the actual bean would have more nutritional value than the liquid. If you don't like the liquid just drain it off, but personally unless you really need that extra 10-15 calories, I wouldn't even bother to factor it.
Or just start buying dry beans and make them.0 -
To double check, I'd actually just check on a calorie checking website - put in the amount of beans, the type, and see what they say for calories. If it's a close match to how you're calculating, you've probably got it right. :-)0
