Is there a place to add breastfeeding to the profile so that the caloric intake reflects that I am breastfeeding?

No, there isn't. Because the needs of breastfeeding and pregnant mothers are so different and vary so greatly they can't add that feature.

However, there are workarounds for this. You can set a custom goal to add in the extra calories. You can add it as an exercise if you know how many calories to add in. And you can enter it into the food diary which will give you a negative calorie adjustment. The food entry is by oz, so you'd have to roughly know how many ounces your baby is drinking.

I personally just added a custom goal. I had my base goal and then added 3-500 calories to that (based on how old she was at the time and how much I was nursing).

You can do a custom add, I had a person on my FL who added it as an exercise.

I use to have mfp several years ago and there was a calorie add of breastfeeding. I stopped using mfp a few years ago and just recently had a baby and want to use it again. They have completely redone mfp and have taken the breastfeeding feature off. It's kind of a bummer but I have added the calories needed (500 extra a day) to my daily weight loss calories. 1200 and added 500 calories for a dialy total of 1700.

I've tried to do tho, the negative calories show up under the meal section, but are not re-added at the top. Any ideas?
