SO, what do you do if you just don't want to eat? I don't want to eat just to eat.

I'm just rarely hungry anymore. It's a chore to eat. and actually measure the food weigh the food watch my portions. Log everything...thats why Ive never done twitter, I dont necessarily want people to know every move I make 24/7
Weight watchers was the same except you had to figure out how many points everything was. Oprah acts like its the biggest thing since sliced bread. On tv bragging about how she eats bread ALL DAY LONG thats the magic!!![:) :)](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Jenny Craig, spend $300+ for a shipment of foods knowing youre going to eat more and different foods than what they send
Do you just quit? Just finish life at least controlling your portions, Most people know whats good and whats bad for them. Bottom line, usually if you love it, its BAD for you
Thats Life
Any advice, its tedious for me, and to work also!! who has time to log every nutrient and every step they take every day?
Needless to say it bores me to tears to do it.

Have you been at it a long time? If you have and are fatigued with the process you can always take a break for a couple of weeks and start back.
It can be tedious.
There are plenty of people who aren't that meticulous on a continuous basis, but they generally do monitor themselves; their weight or clothing, and go back to being meticulous for awhile when they need to. It's called maintenance.0 -
Maybe just have small things for most of the day and have the rest of your calories in one large meal? That's what I pretty much do but not because I find it tedious and boring, just because I get hungriest in the evening.
You didn't get here because you didn't want to eat. And how you reach your goals is up to you but it won't work if you're not serious or you continue doing something that obviously isn't working for you.0 -
So stop logging then. I, personally, don't find it tedious but if you do then...don't do it.0

I'm confused.
What's the problem you're having? Is it that you can't stand the logging? Or is it that some idiot gave you the impression that you had to eat tofu and pita bread all day to lose weight? Because I'm having trouble discerning what your real complaint is here. If the former, you're gonna need to just cowboy up and deal. Logging and tracking calories to create a deficit is how weight gets lost and that's just all there is to it. If it's the latter, you can be helped. Tofu and pita are not requirements for this process. Mcdonald's IS something you can have.0 -

Please send all unwanted tofu and pita bread to my inbox. I'll "struggle" through for everyone else.0 -

Sorry Hutch, I can't do that. I require all the tofu. You can have the pita. Give me miso soup or give me death:)0 -
Nobody is forcing you to log, lose weight, eat or exercise or even be on mfp.
I love steak, chicken, pork, and fast food. I don't deem any of them bad for me as I'm in terrific shape (round).
Op, you need to get outside more.0 -

Twitter isn't a requirement either.
You can keep your diary private so there goes that excuse.
Eat more calorie dense food so you're eating less but still getting required calories
If you have a scale with a tare feature, it's the easiest thing in the world to weigh your portions. Seriously, you stick the plate you'll be using anyway on it, turn it on, put food on plate, note weight, log said weight of food item in mfp.
Also, you build up a list of items in mfp that you eat so you don't have to search every time AND you can copy meals from day to day.
We log and pay attention to our CICO because we were ready to lose weight and obviously couldn't trust any kind of intuitive eating. Maybe you can. Maybe you dont need to count what goes in your mouth or how many calories you burn every day and can still lose. I'm sure if it's such a chore to eat, the weight will come right off. And, I'm sure, so will your hair, your nails, your skin will go bad, and other horror stories of undereating...0 -
Do you not want to eat because eating has become too complicated? Or are you saying you are physically never hungry?
Eating is kind of a requirement to live, so you can't just stop eating. You probably aren't excited over the prospect of brushing your teeth or going to the bathroom, but you do it anyway.
If logging and calorie counting is the reason you don't want to eat, then stop logging. If you still have weight to lose, you can take a diet break and try to maintain without logging, or at least without being completely precise with your logging. And when you return to logging, don't be restrictive, find ways to fit foods that make you happy.
I'm not really sure what Jenny Craig, Twitter, and WW has to do with anything - you don't have to eat special food to lose weight. The beauty of calorie counting is you can figure out how to fit in a slice of pizza or a bowl of ice cream or a beer when you want.
If you are physically never hungry and have a problem eating, you should see a doctor.
If you are psychologically averse to eating you should see a therapist who specializes in eating disorders.
ETA: Weighing the majority of my food and logging all of it takes maybe 5 minutes a day. Are you new to logging? There is a learning curve, it becomes second nature after a while, at least for most people. You don't log "every nutrient". You don't even have to pay attention to the nutrients if you don't want to.0 -
Like a PP, I'm a little confused. Your title suggests you're not hungry and have to force yourself to eat. If that were true, you really wouldn't need to be here. Likely you're here because you want a healthier, better life. I'm guessing you brush your teeth every day for the same reason. Do you spend a lot of time bemoaning how tedious it is to brush your teeth every day? Nah- it is what it is, and we just do it because it's important. Logging is just part of my routine. Not to say there aren't times I get sick of it. When we go on vacation or occasionally at other times, I do take a break from it (still brush my teeth though!) But I always come back, because experience has taught me I either can't or won't succeed without the daily habit of logging. Come on... there's a lot worse things a person could have to do every day!0

You eat food and log what you eat. Stick to your calorie goal. Lose weight. Your diary can be set to private.
It really is much like brushing your teeth. You just do it. It isn't exciting.
You don't have to eat special diet food or do a lot of calculations.
I prelog my whole day so I don't have to think about it all the time. It takes just a few minutes in the morning and I am done. I eat what I logged.0 -

This ^^
I too found measuring/weighing food tedious to the extreme. So I stopped doing it. I don't log, count, weigh, or pay someone else to tell me what to eat. I increased my exercise a bit, ate foods I enjoyed and ate only enough to keep a small deficit on average. I lost 30 lbs.
You don't have to DO anything other than under eat to lose fat.0 -
Flossing bores me to tears but I do it anyway.
@WEREALLINTHISTOGETHER - you sound like you are in a bit of a funk. Maybe the sun will come out tomorrow.0
