Sickness and water weight

I've just got through a 48hour sickness bug. So I had two days of vomiting and not really consuming much of anything (water or food)
I feel tons better today so ate my normal about but I feel horrendously bloated to the point where my trousers won't do up!
Do you think this is just water weight/body being funny after being empty for 2 days?
In which case how do I get the bloating to go.dowb I feel like a balloon!

Hang in there and drink lots of water. It'll go down when your digestion gets back to normal, which might take a few days.

This happened to me last week. 6lb loss in two days, 9lb gain the next two as my body adjusted and now I'm finally back to square one. It happens, just worry about getting well!

Drink lots of water. Get better. It doesn't matter what the scales say when you're sick.

Well, you probably did lose some weight, mostly water weight ... which is what probably bloated you when you ate your normal right away after being sick. Sometimes you need to ease into it, though that's hard to do when you are very hungry from not eating much and losing it for a couple of days.
