I'm with you on the hungry thing. As we get close to maintenance (or at it) it feels like we just want to EAT. The only thing you can really do is suck it up, eat filling, low-cal foods, and add exercise. I also find it helpful to eat regular, low-cal snacks, plus low-cal breakfast and lunch so that by dinner I can eat more calories. If I can budget it in a way that allows at least 600 calories for dinner then I'm good. But I agree that it's so hard now, when it used to be so easy. Consider allowing for a little more calories (so maybe just 200-300 below maintenance).
Just keep telling yourself you did it before, you can do it again.

Same boat as you... Last 8 pounds now. Ive been reading about intermittent fasting... I might try that.0

It's sooo hard. I got from 163 lbs to 125lbs and decided I need to lose 7lb more but my body won't! I'm stuck at this weight and fluctuate within a 3lb range, I'm a 48 year old female and am 5ft. It's frustrating. ...good luck everyone says be patient. Lol0

Have you tried doing it at 100 calories deficit? Takes time but that way you don't feel hungry. Just make sure your logging is spot on as you have no room for error.0

How much have you lost
Why are you always so hungry? What's your macro breakdown and calorie allowance?
That would worry me for maintenance to be honest ..if you're constantly fighting hunger you may not have learned what you need to learn to maintain0 -
I'm 4 lbs from goal and I also find myself being hungrier. BUT I think a part of it is just being more lax with logging and snacking. I tightened up logging this week and made an effort to increase my protein and decrease the cookies and it's helped. I swear this time of year makes it just that much worse. I want to snack constantly even if I'm not truly hungry. The struggle is real. So sick of winter!0

Oh also I switched to losing a half pound per week once I had ten pounds left to lose. Mfp wanted me at 1200 a day to lose a pound a week but that is not okay with me. I need food.0

Last time around when I was down to the last 10 or so I broke through by going to IF 16:8. Can't say why...maybe just changing things up.0

Second this. I changed my weight loss at 0.5 pound a week, so I can eat more. It will be slow. I only need to lose 4 pounds.
I concur with @RunnaforMe. I have to weigh everything I eat on a food scale and log every bit.
Good luck in your healthy journey0 -
Maybe switching up your macros will help? Your body is trying to balance itself, shake it up a bit, shock your body! I don't really know if IF is woo or not... I'm inclined to think that it's mostly losing water weight and "extra baggage" in the colon, and not a sustainable fat loss method.0
