Belly Fat

What are some things I can do to get rid of my muffin belly? I hate the way my belly overlap my pants like a muffin...lol. My belly is the only thing I wanna lose.

Dunlap's Disease is cured by meeting your MFP goal consistently over time with accurate logging.

You can't spot reduce with ' Dunlop's Disease' lol, good one Jerome! The only way to get rid of it is as above, log consistently and make sure you have a calorie deficit to lose fat, but you will lose all over. Once you are at a healthy weight, your spare tyre should be a thing of the past but you will also be smaller all over, nothing you can do about that but you will be much healthier. To enhance various areas of your body, try weight lifting, it also helps burn fat as well as reshape. Good luck!

I found that true about Dunlap's disease on my own, too! LOL You can't spot reduce, eat in a calorie deficit, add some exercise like a progressive lifting program. You can do this!

Unfortunately, you can't tell the body where to lose fat, and where not to lose it. So as your muffin belly shinks, you will be losing fat from other areas of your body as well.

Keep running a deficit in the CICO equation until that muffin belly is gone. Depending on how much weight you have to lose, target 1-2 pounds of weight loss per week until it is gone.

If you've had children or been heavy for a long time your abdominal muscles may be stretched out too much, in which case abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) may be your only option. My muscles were so stretched out I couldn't do crunches properly or pull up bar knee raises and the muffin top was horrible no matter how much weight I lost.

Eat more fiber. Beans, lentils, barley, oatmeal.
Avoid fast food and processed food.
    Avoid fried foods.
Lower your sodium. Easy to do if you cook your own food.
Add potassium rich foods such as beans, bananas, green leafy greens, and tomatoes.
    Cut down on alcohol.
    Drink more water.
Take out candy and sugar soda.
    Add greek yogurt.
