I have an elliptical and a treadmill, they are wonderful. But I would like to add another workout machine. Any suggestions?

First decide on your goal(s), then think and decide how best to get there.0 -
Well I would really like to get into running, my ultimate goal Is overall fitness. That being said I am a horse rider and I rid and show a ton. That requires lots of balance, leg strength, core strength, and lots of other little things. So anything that would help improve that would be great.0

Free weights would do wonders for that. Investing in a power rack with barbell, and plates would be the ultimate set up. Investing in adjustable dumbbells or a variety of dumbbells is going to be a great option as well. A barbell can also be used for cardio when exercise are done back to back in a circuit or as a barbell complexes program.0 -

To get into running, go run...treadmill or otherwise, but I'm partial to exercising in the great outdoors whenever possible...cardio machines are about as mundane and boring as anything I can think of.
In regards to your other goals, I'd strongly suggest some free weights and a good program. A good program that has it's foundation in compound movements is going to enhance your balance, enhance mobility, increase your strength, and all compound movements hit your core big time...there's actually nothing better for core than compound movements.0 -
