    No.

Pills don't work. It would be nice if people realized a pill available OTC is not going to make you lose weight. And just because something is natural doesn't mean it is good for you or not harmful.

I'll just refer you to the wikipedia page... since it comments on it with sources: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gambooge

Actually, I'll cite it here... you can go find the sources on the page:
    Weight loss

In late 2012, a United States television personality, Dr. Oz, promoted Garcinia cambogia extract as a "magic" weight-loss aid. Dr. Oz's previous endorsements have often led to a substantial increase in consumer interest in the promoted products. However, clinical trials do not support claims that Garcinia camobogia is an effective weight-loss aid.[5] A meta-analysis found a possible small, short-term weight loss effect (under 1 kilogram).[6] However, side effects—namely hepatotoxicity—led to one preparation being withdrawn from the market.[7]

A 1998 randomized controlled trial looked at the effects of hydroxycitric acid, the purported active ingredient in gambooge, as a potential antiobesity agent in 135 people. The conclusion from this trial was that "Garcinia cambogia failed to produce significant weight loss and fat mass loss beyond that observed with placebo".[8]

Garcinia cambogia does nothing, so says science, but there is a new magic weight loss thing that is absolutely a fantastic for weight loss, it's called Myaael. It's a real wonder, almost every weight loss study in the last 2 years has supported it's ability to make you lose weight, and even most older studies that included one or more of its constituents parts support it as well, so the effects are very well documented. The side effects are on the positive end too, increased energy, better cardiovascular performance, decreased signs of aging, better cognitive performance... which compared to hepatotoxicity seems awesome! If you're not familiar with Myaael, it's an Acronym for: Move Your *kitten* And Eat Less. You can find it anywhere. :)
