The only thing I ever found truly distracting in a gym setting was this guy with an amazing form to his run; he had an attractive gait. (He was well rounded fitness- did lifting & cardio.) it was hypnotic to watch him run. No one has ever been his equal IMO and it inspired me to pursue "proper" running form.
This post made me realize something (super embarrassed). How can I forget it! Well... there is this guy in my military gym. No one really caught my attention till he came in. He works out like a beast. Deadlifting super heavy in good form and his squats are amazing as well. Yes, those things distracted me but let me tell you. He has the most perkiest and muscular butt I have ever seen. He has good physique overall but his nice bum stands out the most. Anyway, dirty thoughts come to my mind haha. The thing I find the most attractive feature of a man is his Glutes. Back topic, I do not workout in the mornings anymore because that's when he usually comes. I don't want to come off as a gym creeper!
911s1xp9s22c.png This Insta pic made me lol cuz I'm so glad that I'm not alone on this!

That's a nice photo. Now, imagine it as poetry in motion. You just can't ignore that. No matter how focused you are on your own fitness. We respect the effort.

Well of course. Pretty and in shape and who can pump it always cause a distraction. Hey I'm a man I'm not dead.

Well personally I'd rather have a woman spot me, then to be tea-bagged by some dude, while I'm trying to throw up some weight. But that's just me.

Another reason why flat bench is over rated. :D

Never had an issue. Most of my spotters have been men.

People watching at the gym (anything pretty, sparkly, unusual) helps make the time go by more pleasantly when doing boring cardio. Weights I am usually too busy trying to breathe/keep good form/not die to pay any attention.

I don't think it's a distraction. I prefer to workout alone. The gym is my time and my time is rare. Typically only notice people when they hog the mirror space or stalk you at the squat rack until you're through.

I'm there to be a beast, I will not be distracted.
That's good and people need to be there for them selves not for anyone else. Aslo it gives me more ambition

Only if they're being rude or doing something truly impressive. But I could say the same about the other females in the gym as well.

Men are only a distraction when they want to interrupt me to find out if I'm single. I'm not...go away.

I enjoy distraction at the gym.
The distraction might be the real reason I go to the gym SOOOOOooooooo, let's just all keep pretending I'm watching your form....

My man is a semi professional athlete and he's in the gym training for hours. I go with him sometimes and I'm not gonna lie I get distracted easily. Its nothing wrong with having a little eye candy to look at while you doing your thing. It just makes you wanna go harder.

I put my earphones in and don't make eye contact because I'm there to work my butt off. I mean on. And the only distractions happen is when people chit chat in front of the equipment you want to use grr lol

So, it was okay to start with but then I realised my friend had some mad crush for me. He started getting distracted so now we go alone, we're still friends. But at the end of the day some men just can't handle it. However it's the same with some women; they get all hot and flustered about some ripped guy.

Only when the guy is grunting way more loudly than necessary.
