New to Fitness Pal Returning to a healthy lifestyle

I am new to My fitness pal. I have started keeping a strict food diary, and have started working out everyday. This was my 4th workout and I can honestly say it is getting easier, but still feeling out of shape. I have gained 60 pounds since me and my husband starting dating. I'm tired of being overweight. Hopefully I can stay consistent on my food diary and workouts.
