Hey guys!
I'm Kim! I'm not particularly new to this website/app, but I stopped using MFP for a while and just recently returned. I began my first year of college this past fall and made it through fall semester only two or three pounds heavier. Now, however, I noticed I've already gained almost ten pounds since winter break (I was around 143 a week ago when I last checked), and I'd like to break that succession of weight gain before it gets super hard to reverse it. I'd also like to get toned and get some more muscle. My arms are thin, but I don't have a whole lot of upper arm strength. I have some decent leg strength from years of karate and volleyball, but I would love for my legs to be more defined. Same with my stomach area—that's where all of my weight gain goes to (and I can feel it).
Feel free to add me if you are also on a similar path! If you have an eating disorder, though, I would rather not be connected with you on here. For one, I do not want to support that destructive behavior. Also, I know from past experience that it messes with my brain to see pro-ED posts and such low calorie counts, so it is better for me mentally to just be friends on here with people that have a similar goal as me. I hope that didn't sound rude or inconsiderate, and hopefully that made sense. But yeah, please feel free to add me! (:
(If it matters at all, I'm 19 and a little over 5'7".)
