Keep going. I've just finished week one and started with a similar mentality to you. Stay under your calorie goal each day, log your weight loss so the app can adjust the calories you need again and reset your goals. This will ensure you continue to loae weight... Hopefully! My cheat night was saturday night, i had two burgers with cheese, each in a burgee bun. I had real small breakfast and lunch to allow me to do it under my allowance though but i did it!0

Does MFP adjust it for you ? I thought you have to do it manually0

The only problem with goals like this is the demotivating factor if you don't lose on track. If you start losing 1 pound a week or end up losing 1 stone only will you be able to keep it up?0

I lost at that rate between august and january and lost 35 pounds just stick to your calorie goal!0

Any progress you make is progress.
Be happy with the progress you make. Don't be upset if you don't meet your time deadline.0 -

Without knowing your stats it's hard to sayjenniemdavies1991 wrote: »Does MFP adjust it for you ? I thought you have to do it manually
MFP will prompt you to adjust your calories if you haven't within the past ten pounds lost, but yes it's done manually.0 -
Not to be a downer, but honestly it probably is a little unrealistic. You might lose 2 lbs a week for the first few weeks, but unless you are obese, it is hard to maintain that pace without under-eating. Plus, if you don't have much to lose, and you lose the weight fast, you will probably lose a lot of muscle along with the fat, which won't leave you looking nearly as good! Not to say it would be impossible, but I personally don't think it would be optimal.
If it were me, I would aim for 1 lb a week, and focus on strength training to add some "firmness". You may actually look better losing half the weight but being in better shape, which is kinda the point, right? I'm sure no one will be thinking, "Gee, if Jennie had just lost another 10 lbs, she would have looked great!"
Whatever you decide, good luck & have fun!0
