Pilates and building muscle~

I am 5 foot 6 inches 110lbs and 20.5% body fat. I want to have a toned body with muscle as well. I was curious to know if anyone has cross trained with Pilates twice a week and strength training 2-3 times out of the week. Or if it is recommended. Really any advice or tips would be awesome. Thx

So, you're slightly underweight, but you have a good body fat percentage. If you want to build muscle, you need to eat more than you burn. You may want to look up recomp after you gain a little weight. Pilates isn't going to do it. You're going to need to actually lift weights.0

Pilates probably would be good to help maintain flexibility which can decrease through strength training if no attention is paid to that kind of thing. Yoga or dedicated stretching would be effective for that as well.0

Yoga once weekly with daily weightlifting, but super set everything, light weight, max reps, will tone and build muscle at the same time!0
