How long to wait before lifting weights with jammed fingers?

I got a jammed finger on both hands. I was still lifting weights with them jammed for a while but noticed they were not healing so I have stopped lifting for about a week now and they feel better. But how long should i give them to fully heal before i start lifting again?

If they feel 100% you could try some lighter weights and then see how they feel. If they get sore at all, give it another week. You can do squats at minimum anyways as you don't need your fingers for those.0

There are ways around pain or hand problems. Lifting straps for deads, squats with false grips, OHP with false grip, bench off machine.
