I am 5 foot 6 inches 110lbs and 20.5% body fat. I want to have a toned body with muscle as well. I was curious to know if anyone has cross trained with Pilates twice a week and strength training 2-3 times out of the week. Or if it is recommended. Really any advice or tips would be awesome. Thx :)

It depends on what program you are following, for both weight training and pilates. I used to do a twice per week lifting program and twice per week pilates. Then I switched to a different pilates class and this class could not be combined with lifting, it is far more strength oriented, so it simply was impossible to lift a decent weight in between, the lifting days ended up being my super light weight recovery days. I currently switched to pilates only for strength training. But, there are programs more oriented towards core only, or flexibility.
