Going too far?

When I first started cutting, I was 86 kg, now I am 75 in less than 3 month( my hight is 182 cm) and my goal is 70
I have been intermittent fasting for 6 hours, then 4, after that 2, now I only eat one meal post workout, getting all kinds of results but losing all of my strength.
Any suggestions?
Note: my caloric intake is 500-800 a day

Eat more!
Cutting that much weight and that quickly will not help you.0 -
based upon your height 70kg would seem like a sensible target. But, the fact that you say you are losing strength is of concern and may indicate that you are eating too little.
Review your calorie target, set a moderate rate of loss, log consistently, record your exercise performance and review/tweak if required.
If after this you are still worried about strength loss you should consider holding at maintenance for a while to give yourself a break from the cut.0 -
"my caloric intake is 500-800 a day "
"losing all of my strength"
Well that's hardly surprising! It hasn't crossed your mind that the two things are related?
I'm 77kg and lose weight but increase strength at 2000 cals.0 -
OK, my first reply was before you added this...TylerWilsonAKAtailor wrote: »Note: my caloric intake is 500-800 a day
Scrap what I first said. EAT MORE. You should be eating somewhere in the region of 2000 - 2500 cals per day. Eating significantly less WILL cause you health problems.
If you feel that there is some psychological problem to immediately rectifying this situation you should seek help from a doctor, friend, relative, or counselor.0 -
70 kg seems a very low target for a 6 ft tall young man.
And 500 - 800 calories far too little intake.0 -

BMI of 21, so bang in the middle of the "Normal" range for males. I know BMI is a poor measure but, given that we have so little other information about the OP (%LM v %BF for example), it's probably as good as we are going to get.paperpudding wrote: »And 500 - 800 calories far too little intake.
Yep - just to reiterate @TylerWilsonAKAtailor YOU NEED TO FIX THIS NOW.

.. You seriously are questioning why you're losing strength on max 800 cals a day? Hopefully you didn't throw away what I'm assuming was a bulk by losing lean muscle from such a low intake.0

Just curious..
Maybe try getting in extra amount in vegetables and or lean proteins like egg or beans. Anything just to give you more vital energy. Maybe 1300 would be my minimum if I were you. Good luck all the same- we may not agree but losing weight fast is trickier so maintenance may be interesting.
The OP is a 6ft male, 1300 would be far too low.0 -
You're wondering why you don't have strength when you eat less than the average 5 year old? Do you REALLY need to ask???0

The answer is staring you in the face. Your health and strength is starting to suffer because you are consuming so little calories. What you are doing is very very dangerous, your body has no fuel to carry out even basic functions of living let alone anything else. You know the answer to this, you need to eat more, considerably more.0
