Does anyone walk with hand weights? I'm going to get some 2 lb weights but I'm not sure how to log it. Any suggestions?

I don't walk with hand weights, but I would probably log it as walking. You maybe getting a slightly more caloric burn, but I don't think it'd be worth taking into account. Not to say that it's worthless, because over time it'll likely add up. But for each session, I'd just log it as walking. I admire your thinking and efforting into adding whatever extra you can to your walk!

I have a weighted vest that evenly distributes the weight. I don't use it often in part because I'm afraid people will think I'm a terrorist. I assume that police officers will understand what it is because they and firefighters train with them, but you never know.

If you walk with free weights, pay attention to what you're doing. You can give yourself a shoulder injury if you neglect your form.

I would log it as walking.
