Use fruit as the sweetener. Here is a cookie recipe with medjool dates
http://www.carolinescooking.com/sugar-free-date-oatmeal-cookies/4oz/110g medjool dates (pitted weight) - around ½ cup, well packed
2oz (1/2 stick)/55g butter, softened to room temperature and chopped
½ beaten egg
½ cup/60g plain (all purpose) flour
½ cup/40g oats (old fashioned rather than quick)
¼ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp cinnamon0 -
Coconut oil, cacao powder, a tad of maple syrup, blend well.... Tastes like chocolate frosting.
Non fat frozen yogurt w a teaspoon of honey is divine.
Frozen black cherries are delicious.0
