I would caution using other people's rate of weight loss for motivation...everyone is vastly different in regards to adherence to diet, not to mention there are other factors at play that may or may not jive with what you have going on...i.e. someone with more weight to lose is generally going to lose at a faster rate initially...someone low carbing is likely to lose at a faster rate initially due to glycogen depletion, etc...0
