alternative to MFP recipe builder?

Is there a better alternative to the MFP recipe builder?

Everytime I try to import a recipe from a website...the ingredient matches are ridiculous!

Today I tried to import a recipe for giardiniera relish...recipe from Rachel Ray.

First it told me that it could not locate a recipe from the url i entered and to c&p the ingredients. So i did....

This is what MFP came up with, lmao!

hoping there is an alternative that im unaware of!

Oh my goodness! That's insane. I always just enter and search for the ingredients. I agree the new system is a pain and I liked the old one much better.

Ya, the ingredient matching is abysmal. Use the Old Recipe Calculator and enter ingredients one at a time. See also http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10014325/updated-recipe-tool-feedback/p1

The new one is terrible. Last night it matched confectioners sugar as sugar snap peas...I guess it was trying to save me calories? I have also had the issue where I can find an ingredient in the database just searching, but the recipe builder can't find it. I just use the old one. I have also been known to use the recipe builder at this site http://www.caloriecount.com/cc/recipe_analysis.php, then create a food with that info in MFP rather than a recipe.

I just use the old recipe builder. The few times I tried that one, I couldn't get it to work properly.

The new one is terrible. It's the same story whether you enter the ingredients by hand or try to import them. (It seems to like Allrecipes for imports, but that's about it.)
I use the old recipe builder whenever possible, but it's having more and more glitches. :(

The recipe builder has a horrible glitch where if you want to use the same recipe but tweak a few of the ingredients, it will let you go through all the trouble, but then when you go to save it, it won't save it! :(
