High protein and calorie dense. I used pizza a burgers to bulk up from 126lbs to 150lbs (good amount of muscle) in a year.

I don't know that faster would necessarily be the name of the game...

Not even being rude, but you could probably just google calorie dense foods and choose the options with more nutrients (nuts. nut butters, liquids/shakes, dried fruit, etc.)

Bulking faster usually means more fat gain. Which means you have to quit your bulk sooner and go back to cutting, which kinda negates the reason for bulking in the first place.

Take your time. Don't veg on junk to gain- you'll regret it. I can recommend some products that may help you, if you'd like.

^ Hopefully it doesn't start with "Shake" and end with "ology".

    LOL.

I second the calorie surplus too many too soon = excess fat gain, stop the bulk.

Eat what ever it is that you enjoy eating now. And even try some new things to broaden the palate. You are eating for muscle growth so indulge in yummy stuff that will get you to goal..

@AnvilHead I may look small, but my brain isn't. I would not recommend shake-o to someone trying to build muscle mass, lol! I like creatine, casein protein- digests slowly and gradually. a good supplement that promotes recovery, BCAAS...

edit: i have NO affiliation with Beachbody, lol.

BCAA'S are a waste of money if you're getting sufficient protein.

OP hit your maintenance calories with mostly nutrient dense foods and fill in the surplus however you like. If you are having a hard time eating enough, don't fear simple carbs. They tend to be less satiating and insulin is anabolic.

Cosign on the slow bulk. Don't go all Continental Chicken
