Sore Achilles. Strengthen or stretch or rest?

At some point during my workout today (Insanity Max Interval Circuit) I must have managed to tweak my right Achilles. It's now sore. I know sore muscles & sometimes tendons are a normal thing, and normally I'd power right through them but I was under the impression that the Achilles shouldn't really be one of them. It's sore, but not debilitating or anything so I don't think a visit to the doc is necessary at this point, and I'd like to keep it that way. I did some googling and really wasn't successful in finding answers. Should I try to stretch it more over the next couple days or will that make it worse? Massage? Should I rest it completely or am I okay to keep working out? Obviously, if it gets bad I'll stop. Should I be doing something to strengthen that? I am not new to fitness, this is my 4th time through insanity & I run pretty regularly. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have torn my Achilles before playing basketball on hardcourt surface. Try warming up your Achilles with body weight standing foot raises. If you have a theraband, you can do home Achilles stretches. Hope it helps!0
