How on earth do I count this?

So today for lunch/dinner, I went to a hibachi buffet with my boyfriend. I tried to go easy; got a lot of sushi, a lot of vegetables (primarily broccoli), and two egg rolls (only two... I know those are "bad"). How on earth do I count the calories on this?? I'm confident since I went with sushi/fish that I didn't go over my daily allowance, but it's kind of a bummer not to be able to count it!

Should I try to count it by choosing different things in the database - since this restauraunt doesn't even have a menu online... Or just not bother counting it at all, and say that today was a very serious cheat day?

I would try finding the specific things in the database or look online for something similar you had for a calorie count. Obviously it won't be perfect, but it's an idea. You would be surprised how quick sushi adds up...some can be quite high in calories as well.

I'd log it as a mix and match from the database. I've had to do that before. And I love the egg/spring rolls also. I'm planning to make some soon.

I say count it as best you can.
You know what you ate and approximately how much so find similar items in the database and get as close calorie-wise as you think is accurate.
If after entering similar foods the calorie count doesn't look high enough then either up the portion sizes or do a "quick add calories" of how many more you think is close.
I would also over estimate my calorie consumption, better safe than sorry is my motto when entering calories. That way there's less of a chance of a nasty surprise come weigh-in day.

I'd just look for something generic for sushi, make a guess at how the vegetables were prepared (i.e. oil, etc.), and a generic egg roll entry.

If I run into this I'll find the closest possible match. If there are a few that match the description, I take the higher calorie count. Better to be safe than sorry.
