Best non-batteries required electric scale?

Hi all,
My current scale is a nice glass-battery-powered scale, but it takes 3V's batteries which the single one required dies after 3 months. A new battery is almost the same as the scale itself. I just want a scale I can plug into the wall, and never have to replace the batteries ever again.

Does a cheap model scale like this exist?. Thanks.

Ikea sells 2032 batteries cheap if you have one near you. $1.99 for 8 of them.

They only last 3 months? I have had my glass-battery-powered scale for about 5 years and only had to replace the 2 button batteries once.

My last battery powered scale lasted about 4 years before I had to change the battery.

Since most home scales are advertised as "bathroom scales" and bathrooms are wet environments, it will be hard to find one that plugs in to the wall.

Food scale or body weight scale?

    I'm confused.

Good question! I assumed body weight. Plug in food scales are not hard to find on Amazon, kitchen supply stores, etc.

    Or buy rechargeable batteries.
