Today i was sweating too much i walked 15 miles.
Due to some reasons I wasn't exercising for a week.
But now I'm back to my routine today weather was little bit hot and I sweat too much.
What does this mean?
If I am sweating too much I'm burning more calories Right?
In hot weather we sweat too much than cold weather so we burn more calories in summer than winter?

The amount you sweat is unrelated to calorie burn.

Nope. Sweat does not equal exercise. Some people are just more sweaty than others - doesn't mean they are burning more calories.

Unfortunately, more sweat does not equal more calorie burn.

On the other end it doesn't matter how hard I work or how hot it is I don't sweat for a number of reasons. I still lose weight perfectly fine.

    All seasons!! :)
  • This is a new one.
You don't burn more calories but you do need to make sure you're hydrating properly.

For me, the best seasons to lose weight are gardening and swimming seasons because I'm naturally more active.

Post-breakup has traditionally been a good season as well, but those are off the calendar now.

In theory, a person burns more calories being cold as it takes a bit more calories (energy expenditure) to keep the body warm. But does a person purposefully stay cold in the winter months to burn more calories, I think not.

With that said, there is no scientific theory to related to gauging sweat as to how hard your are exercising or working hard at burning calories. And actually the more fit or conditioned you are it does take more intense exercise to increase your core body temperature and produce sweat however there are a great deal of factors that take place such as a persons nutrition, sleep, outside humidity, temperature, heart rate, VO2, etc..

For me it's summer because of all the fresh farmer's market produce, the longer daylight hours mean more outdoor activity, and the parks are open. Winter I don't want to fall on ice, everything closes early or is closed for the season, and Christmas candy beckons.

Don't know, but I would vote for warmer weather.

When it is warmer out I tend to be more active and get out of the house; less time sitting around, less time to think about eating.

Flip side...lots of wet heavy snow to shovel this afternoon. Didn't do much for my step count, but a lot of those steps were squats...lift with the legs! :D

Any season is the season. Although, activity wise, summer sucks here, for me. I live 5 miles away from the bowels of hell and 30 miles from the sun's corona (Southern Nevada) :D

For most people, probably the season where they are out for hours doing things they enjoy. I burn a lot more calories during spring planting than any other time (and I love being out there so long). It gets really hot here in summer, so by the end of it I'm inside more than out. It gets so buggy by then, too, lol.

But I do think the cold burns the most calories. You just have to be out in it, though, and most people don't stay out as long as they do other seasons.

I agree that the different kinds of food also help. I really do like lighter food in the summer, and I eat a lot more fresh produce.

CICO is not affected by seasons. You will lose the same amount of weight in February as you would in July

I do much better when my spouse is away. I don't cook every day. Rather, I cook once a week and eat preportioned meals all week and I don't eat out when he's gone! Makes sticking to a plan much easier.

I do better when my spouse is away, too! When he's deployed there's less junk in the house and my pre-portioned meals don't mysteriously disappear in one day LOL

True for me too! I took a business trip last month and lost weight because I pre-prepped my meals and only ate when I was hungry instead of when the family wanted to eat.

Winter is worse for me because Holidays LOL. Then Spring because Easter and my birthday... other than that, it's the same to me, although Spring and Fall are nice when I can go out for a walk after dinner before it gets dark.

The best season is the one you're in currently. There's upsides and downsides to them all, but the question is really "where do I want to be in three months? Fitter and stronger, or stuck?"

    Nope.

As others have mentioned, sweat has nothing to do with burning calories.

Personally, I find it easier to lose weight in winter.

It doesn't matter. I have to lose weight in all seasons, 2 of each so far. I will have to maintain/manage my weight in all seasons as well.
