Spinach Stems

It seems like such a waste to throw them out. What do you guys do with them?
I'm thinking of blending and tossing them in a stew, but I'm not sure how that would change the flavor.

I tend to juice spinach and use the whole plant normally.
If I'm just using the leaves (I normally just buy baby spinach though) and have the stems left I either save them to juice or wash them well and puree them to add to sauces.
If you want to pop them in a stew just chop them smaller and add them towards the end. They shouldn't change the taste much if at all if you don't load it up with spinach stems.0 -
I eat 'em with the spinach. Didn't realize there was an issue, lol!0

I eat them attached to the leaf. Always have, they taste fine.0
