I would guess you are overtraining / under eating. That seems like way to much training for that Kcal intake I know you are doing less weight than your BF but I assume you weigh less think about it in terms of % and I would guess he is eating lots more than you. I personally would say too much exercise too soon has shocked the body. I would do less. Keep sessions to around 1hr and I personally would keep to more compound weight training movements0

I personally would give 1600 a shot, even on the days you don't work out. If you're as active as you described, you can probably lose at a good rate eating 1600 calories per day. Just make sure your logging is accurate!0
