I hear ya. I've been stagnant on my last 10 lbs and it's been driving me nuts. Been watching my I take, excercising regularly and yet the scale is firmly stuck. Ugh!

I keep telling myself it will move again, and that it's likely my muscle buildup but math is math and my intake has been less than output. Maybe my body wants me to stay at 190? (My goal is 180).

    Help!

I know exactly what you mean!!! I'm at 137 right now and trying to get down to 132. My weight fluctuates so much! Usually it takes me several months to get down the last 5 pounds. Don't get discouraged!!!

I'm a not-so-happy member of this club too. Been between 135 and 131.4 since mid January. The only thing that's keeping me sane is trying on a new pair of jeans on daily - and they fit looser. I know that is supposed to be progress and satisfying and a non-scale victory, but SCALE, why can't you just be my friend!!!! Arrgh! :D

Girl I feel ya. My goal weight is 125lbs and I was at 128lbs then after two weeks of crap eating I'm back up to 132lbs. I'm determined to do good until I get down to my 125lbs goal. I keep an open diary, you should add me if you're looking for food inspiration. We can do this!

I'm in a similar boat and bounce b/w 133 and 135. 128-130lbs is where I had been for a few years but jumped to 142 in Dec. I'm gonna keep pushing through!

I'm not to the last 5 yet, but other people here say you really need to tighten up your logging when you get to the end. You just dont have much margin for error because you're working with such a small deficit.

I got to within 2 pounds of GW and have been stuck for two months. I decided to declare victory and I'm now in maintenance with a 4-5 pound range. Meaning, I can go up to 125 but then work back to 122. I've upped my calories by 150 and hope to get to 120# in the summer.

I found that I was stressing out so much over a few pounds, that it was really throwing me off my game. I think it's a psychological thing. Hang in there and consider just going to maintenance for a month or two for a break, then power through.

omg!!! you were 3lbs away and you went back to 132 :dizzy: i'm thinking if you keep working hard it will eventually show up on the scale. i am still keeping an eye on my food in take, because i am trying my fat % to go down. it's on 32.8 last month and my target is to be 28%. i just love eggs and mayonnaise and i cannot give it up

i actually upped my food in take 200 cals, it seems to work because i am not too hungry and i still workout hard. i know i got this and i can get through this, but sometimes it bugs me not to see the numbers on the scale lol. i mean it's not super serious that i will just give up and quit but also it's not a very pleasant feeling to have something so close but yet so far :disappointed:

Same boat- been stuck between 127-129 for about 2-3 months. I'll lose a half a pound in a week and then like this last week slough off a bit and gain two pounds- in a week. I am thinking of just declaring victory and just maintaining between 125-130 because that's my maintenance goal anyway. I will probably never see 125 but if I can keep the range of 127ish I will be satisfied with that. Last spring I was stuck for 2 months at 145, ate at maintenance or more for a week and a half and then dropped a bit after that. I was stuck for another month or two in the summer at 142 but then lowered my calories just a bit and dropped below 140 into the high 130s. It seems to go in spurts and stops. My body wants to stay at a certain weight and then I try to do little things to shake it up and I lose some and then get stuck again.

@ruffalicious - yeah, I may have to get rid of the scale for a while. It's ridiculous. I approach it in slow motion every morning with the theme music from the movie Jaws playing in my head. There has to be better ways to greet the morning! ;)
